Simon Jaxx

Simon Jaxx began his music career in the age of 5, as he learned to play the violin in a japanese music school. Before, he was not even able to read music. He learned according the senses of hearing and feeling. therefore his almost perfect hearing was trained in his younger days.

As he beacame seventeen (1991/92) Simon Jaxx was implicated in electronic music for the fi rst time and bought his first synthesizer and amiga computer. In cooperation with his studio compagnion Christian Kurz (Mutter Tonträger) and Liefko (Afrilounge, Get Physical, Pokerflat) he performed the first live-acts.

1994/95 Simon Jaxx worked for Humpty Records and began to experiance himself in an impassionating feeling for this thing. Closed to that time the first DJ bookings were requested and Simon Jaxx worked
together with international stars like Steve Bug, Chris Liebing, Claude Young, Damon Wild, Ellen Alien, Jeff Mills, Afrika Islam and so on. His first release was in 1998/99 due his own label Bunka Rekords, which was distributed by Neuton (Offenbach).

2002 his second release was based on his sublabel Zentrifuge Recordings. Further on, bookings were made for Swizerland (Zürich), Austria (Vienna, Linz), France(Paris) and Belgium(Brüssel).
2004/05 Simon Jaxx made a longer performance break and concentrated only on productions. 2009 Simon Jaxx goes ahead with his digital label „Frequently Music“ and further releases at other labels will follow.

2010 Simon Jaxx released his first Album "Famous Spinning Dub" distributed by Believe Digital London, worldwide.
